Study on the Effect of Chinese Medicine Health Education Nursing on Blood Pressure Level and Medication Adherence in Primary Elderly Hypertensive Patients
The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of Chinese medicine health education nursing on blood pressure levels and medication adherence in primary elderly hypertensive patients.The study subjects were 71 primary elderly hypertensive patients who received treatment in the hospital between January 2023 and December 2023.The patients were divided into two groups according to different care modes:the conventional group(35 ca-ses)received conventional nursing interventions and the study group(36 cases)underwent TCM health education and care on the basis of the conventional group.The results of the study showed that after the intervention,the medication adherence of the study group was significantly higher than that of the conventional group(P<0.05).In addition,the diastolic and systolic blood pressures of the study group were significantly lower than those of the conventional group(P<0.05).In a comprehensive analysis,TCM health education nursing demonstrated a sig-nificant effect in the treatment of primary elderly hypertensive patients,which not only helps to effectively reduce blood pressure levels,but also improves patients'medication adherence.These findings suggest that TCM health ed-ucation nursing has the potential to be widely promoted in practical clinical applications.
