Enhancing Internship Selection for Vocational Students:Strategies and Applications of Social Practice Theory
This research employs Pierre Bourdieu's theory of social practice, analyzing the social dynamics of internship selection rights and proposing a range of strategies to enhance the quality of internships and foster the ca-reer development of students.By examining the dynamics of field, habits and capital, the study reveals the socio-ecological structure of internship selection rights. It is found that the uneven distribution of educational resources, the conflict between students'habits and societal expectations and the inequality in capital accumulation are the main challenges faced by internship selection rights. In response to these challenges, the study suggests strategies such as constructing a comprehensive internship evaluation and feedback system, cultivating career planning aware-ness,optimizing the allocation of internship resources and deepening school-enterprise cooperation. The imple-mentation of these strategies is expected to expand students'internship options, improve the overall quality of intern-ships and promote a better alignment between vocational education and market demands.
