Constructing an Independent Knowledge System in Chinese Political Science from the Perspective of Knowledge Production
The scientific and systematic advancement of the construction of an independent knowledge system in Chinese political science should follow the theoretical logic and historical logic of knowledge sys-tem construction.The"commensurability"of different types of knowledge varies,and the restrictive conditi-ons that independent knowledge production has to overcome in different situations are also different.From the perspective of the restrictive conditions that independent knowledge production aims to overcome,it is evident that there are three main aspects during the exploration of the construction of an independent knowledge system in Chinese political science since modern times:"national independence and autonomy","disciplinary autonomy",and"theoretical autonomy".The three main aspects are successive and intertwin-ed,which together constitute the era's canvas of knowledge production and theoretical innovation in Chine-se political science.In the context of the new era,the construction of independent knowledge system in political science should focus on the practicality and transcendence of knowledge to deal with the tension between"local"and"foreign".It should focus on the self-consciousness and spontaneity to balance knowledge and power,and it should take the continuity of knowledge system construction as a perspective to integrate history and the present,aiming to construct independent knowledge system in political science which is more explanatory,penetrating,and inclusive in the historical process of Chinese modernization.
