Interaction Between Environmental Governance and Public Health:——A Case Study based on the Comprehensive Management of the Guitang River in Changsha City
As environmental issues intensify and public health awareness increases,the interaction between environmental governance and public health has become increasingly significant.The harmonious development of humans and nature has emerged as a crucial issue for government governance.By integrating of compound governance theory,ecosystem theory,and social-ecological systems theory,this study focuses on the impact of urban water pollution governance on public health.Through the comprehensive management case of the Guitang River in Changsha City,it explores how compound governance strategies can enhance ecosystem service quality and improve public health and social adaptability.The study emphasizes the effective promotion of environmental governance and public health improvement through multi-stakeholder cooperation,policy coordination,and public participation.Findings indicate that successful environmental governance must comprehensively consider various factors,including ecosystem restoration,socio-economic elements,and cultural values.The interaction between environmental governance and public health is evident as environmental quality directly affects public health levels,while public health demands and feedback play a critical role in the formulation and adjustment of environmental governance strategies.
