A community for the Chinese nation came into being in the convergence and integration of history.The Chinese path to modernization under the leadership of the Communist Party of China is the fundamental road to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.A nation without modernization cannot stand among the nations in the world.In the course of China's modernization development,the construction of a community for the Chinese nation has gone through four stages:preliminary brewing,awakening exploration,steady progress and rapid leap.It presents a distinctive paradigm with a huge population as the powerful driving force,the essential requirement of common prosperity for all,the coordination of material and cultural-ethical advancement as the distinctive feature,the harmony between man and nature as the only road to success,and the path of peaceful development as the pattern of responsibility.To build a community for the Chinese nation we should realize the population modernization of the Chinese nation,form a modern economic model,build modern civilization of the Chinese nation,create a modern way of life,and ensure the security of the development of the country and the nation,so as to build a modern commu-nity for the Chinese nation.
