The discourse marker Zhen De is mainly used in three sequential structures,namely assessment sequence,response sequence and informing sequence.Its interactional function primarily involves strengthening the epistemic stance,promoting the convergence of stance and highlighting the interactional topic.This paper also explores the im-pact of the epistemic status of interlocutors on the interactional function of Zhen De.
