Application and Research of the IP Three-Pole Sounding in the Exploration of Iron and Copper Mines
As a key metal mineral resource,the efficiency and accuracy of exploration of iron and copper deposits are directly related to the effective development and utilization of resources.This paper focuses on the exploration practice of an iron and copper mine in Xinjiang,and deeply discusses the specific application and effectiveness of the induced po-larization single-side three-pole sounding technology in this area.By systematically analyzing the geological characteris-tics and exploration targets of the mining area,the basic principles,instrument composition,and technical methods of the single-side three-pole sounding method are described,and a detailed discussion is made on the actual exploration results.
