Preliminary Exploration on the Exploration Direction of Quartzite Mineral Resources in the Altyn Tagh Area of Xinjiang——Taking the Togelik Quartzite Mine in Ruoqiang County,Xinjiang as an Example
Quartz resources are the main raw material for producing industrial silicon,which is widely used in industry.And quartzite is the main mineral product that provides quartz raw materials.The Altun region has undergone multiple periods of orogeny,with high degree of rock metamorphism,forming many sedimentary metamorphic quartzite deposits.This article takes the Togelike quartzite in Ruoqiang County as an example to analyze and study its geological character-istics and deposit genesis,and proposes the next direction for searching for similar quartzite resources in the Altun region.
