Study on Geological Characteristics of Ocean Plate and Metallogenic of Strategic Metal in the East Tianshan of Xinjiang
The trench-arc-basin system in the ancient orogenic belt is reconstructed through systematically research on the geological characteristics of the oceanic plates in the East Tianshan of Xinjiang. It is concluded that the geological tectonic evolution in the study area since the early Paleozoic is mainly controlled by the opening, subduction and closure of the North Tianshan Ocean. The metallogenic characteristics of 58 deposits in the East Tianshan Mountains are compre-hensively analyzed, and the metallogenic series division and naming scheme of"geological age+tectonic environment+ore-bearing construction+ore species"is proposed for the first time.Based on this, the metallogenic regularity of strate-gic metal minerals in the East Tianshan is re-analyzed and re-recognized.The iron ore metallogenic series associated with Marine sedimentary metamorphism in Proterozoic active continental margin environment, the copper polymetallic ore metallogenic series associated with magmatic activity in Early Paleozoic subduction stage, the iron copper polymetal-lic ore metallogenic series associated with medium acidic magmatic hydrothermal activity in Early Devonian to Early Carboniferous ocean subduction stage, the iron copper nickel lead zinc ore metallogenic series associated with magmatic activity in Late Carboniferous-Permian ocean basin closing stage and Fe-Au-Mo-W-Li ore metallogenic series are relat-ed to alkaline magmatic hydrothermal structure in the Triassic collusion-orogenic stage had been classified.Combined with the advantageous mineralization of different geodynamic backgrounds,a new prospecting direction is proposed.
