Recycling supply chain members' strategy for electronic product considering second-hand market under the tax-subsidy policy
Considering the two-echelon supply chain composed of a manufacturer and a recycler,we construct the recycler-recycling decision-making model,recycler-recycling and secondary market transactions coexist recycling decision-making model.Based on consumer utility,we analyze the optimal pricing strategies of supply chain members and discuss the impact of the introduction of the secondary market on recycling supply chain members'strategy for electronic product and the design of the tax-subsidy policy. Our results show that, with the competition of secondary market, consumers can benefit a lot in the process of used electronic product recycling in certain circumstances. In addition, the competition of secondary market is enhanced, the manufacturer's profit and government's surplus is improved.Otherwise, with the competition of secondary market, the recycler's profit is lower, the government can properly improve products'subsidy to strengthen its competitiveness and weaken the loss of the recycler's profit.Besides,we conclude that from the perspective of total social welfare, the exploiting of secondary market is beneficial.
