The Impact of Digital Transformation on the Sustainable Development of the Manufacturing Industry
Digital transformation is the inherent part of promoting our country from a"manufacturing giant"to a"smart manufacturing power"and achieving sustainable development of the manufacturing industry.Based on the research samples of 27 manufacturing industries from 2013 to 2020,this paper empirically examines the impact of digital transformation on the sustainable development of manufacturing industry from the perspective of industry linkage by constructing a spatial Durbin model. The results show that digital transformation will indeed promote the sustainable development of the manufacturing industry, and will have technology spillover effects in the direction of vertical forward, backward and horizontal technology correlation between industries. This study reveals the impact of digital transformation on the sustainable development of the manufacturing industry from the theoretical level, and provides a policy reference for reasonably guiding the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry to achieve sustainable development.
