A Study on the Flower Bud Morphological Differentiation of Wild European Plum
The paraffin section of flower bud morphological differentiation was observed to study the differentiation process of Wild European Plum. The results are as follows: Wild European Plum flower bud morphological differentiation started in the last ten-day period of June. The whole process can be divided into pre-differentiation stage, the floral primordial differentiation stage, sepal primordial differentiation stage, petal primordial differentiation stage, stamen and pistil late primordial differentiation stage. From June 22,the majority of flower buds were in pre-differetiation stage,on Sept. 2 the majority of flower buds were in pistillat differentiation stage, the whole process approximately continues for 70 day. There was intersectional phenomenon in each differentiation stage. The full blooming of differentiation concentrated at the first ten-day period of July to the first ten-day period of September. Pistil primordial differentiation stage was basically completed at the beginning of October.
