Relationships between Forest Community Secondary Succession and Soil Fertility in Kanas Tourist Area,Xinjiang
Based on soil physical and chemical properties, the variation characteristics of soil fertility at different succession series of the forest communities in Kanas Tourist Areas was evaluated by the integra-tive evaluation system. The result showed that the descending order of the integrated index value of soil fertility among different forest types was as follows:broad-leaved forest>broadleaved-needleleaved mixed forest> needleleaved-broadleaved mixed forest >needleleaved mixed forest. The descending order of soil fertility among different succession series was as follows; the earlier stage>the middle stage>the later stage.
