Effects of Planting Density on Yield and Growth Tendency of Summer Soybean in North Xinjiang
The field trail was conducted to study the plant height, stem diameter, leaf area index (LAI),dry matter accumulation dynamic changes, yield and yield component factors by using five planting density of 37.5 × 104 (A),45.0 × 104 (B),52.5 × 104 (C),60.0 × 104 (D) and 67.5 × 104 (E) plants/hm2 under drip irrigation. The results showed that with increasing density, height increase, stem diameter thinning, both of which showed a significant negative correlation, correlation coefficient was-0.8928;with the increase of density, the LAI increased, but the dry matter accumulation of per plant decreased.Yield was presented with the increasing density of the parabola opening down, under the experimental conditions 52.5×104 plants/hm2 of treatment C had the highest yield of 3 205.04 kg/hm2,which is 14.26%,4.09%,1.42%,5.88% higher than treatment A,B,D and treatment E,reached a very significant difference in level (P <0.01).The summer soybean suitable density should be controlled between 52.5 × 104-60.0× 104 plants/hm2 for high yield in North ×injiang.
