Evaluation of Dominant Jujube Cultivars'Quality in Tuha Basin from Different Production Areas and the Relationship with Soil Condition
The objective of this study is to study the effect of spatial distribution differences on the fruit quality of the main jujube varieties in Tuha Basin in the hope of providing references for industrial develop-ment planning.Hamidazao jujube,Huizao jujube and Junzao jujube from 9 townships(towns)in 3 main producing counties(districts)of Turpan City and Hami City in Xinjiang were selected as test samples, and the external quality and internal quality of the fruits were determined and comprehensively compared. The composite score was calculated by principal component analysis, and ranked the fruits according to the comprehensive score of each origin. At the same time, the orchard soil samples were analyzed, the correla-tion between soil performances and fruit quality indexes was calculated, and the relationship between fruit quality and soil performance was discussed. The results indicated that the best area in the comprehensive fruit quality of Hamidazao jujube in Tuha Basin was Bositan Town,Yilahu Town was the best area for Huizao jujube, and Daquanwan Township was the best area for Junzao jujube. The fruit diameter and total flavonoid content of Hamidazao jujube were significantly negatively correlated with soil pH(P<0.05).The fruit longitudinal diameter of Huizao jujube was significantly positively correlated with soil bulk densi-ty(P<0.01).The three dominant cultivars'fruit quality performance revealed differentiated response a-gainst the soil fertility performance.
