Study on Preparation of Modified Polystyrene Macroporous Adsorption Resin and Separation of Total Flavonoids from Tomato Peel Residue
In this study, polystyrene AB-8 resin and hydroxyproline are used as raw materials to prepare a modified resin by Friedel-Crafts acylation, and its adsorption and elution ability of flavonoids from tomato peel residue are to be investigated.During the process,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR)and scanning electron microscopy(SEM)were used to characterize the structure of AB-8 resin and its Friedel-Crafts acylation modified products. The static adsorption and desorption capacity of the modified AB-8 resin was compared with the three macroporous resins of AB-8,D-101 and NKA-9,and the results showed that the adsorption rate and desorption rate of the modified AB-8 resin were better than those of the other three resins. The optimal adsorption conditions for the modified AB-8 resin were p H 5 and the eluent was 80%ethanol.The static adsorption kinetics showed that the modified AB-8 resin had a good adsorption capacity for the total flavonoids of tomato peel residue, and reached adsorption saturation at 4 h of adsorption, and the final adsorption rate reached 65.18%.The purification effect was significant, and the flavonoid content increased from 7.35 mg/g to 57.60 mg/g.It can be seen that the modified AB-8 res-in has a good effect on the separation and purification of total flavonoids in tomato peel pomace.
