Grape Common Diseases and Their Occurrence Status Quo in Turpan and Some Other Areas in Northern Xinjiang
[Objective] To know the occurrence status quo of grape disease under the existing control level,and analyze the causes of these diseases,thus providing basis for further strengthening prevention and control.[Method] General investigation,fixed-point investigation,and pathogen morphology identification methods,etc.were earried out to conduct a preliminary investigation of grape diseases and their occurrence status quo in Turpan and some other areas in Northern Xinjiang.[Result] The survey findings showed that:in Turpan and some other areas in Northern Xinjiang,the main diseases which happened on grapes included grape downy mildew,grape powdery mildew,grape felt disease,grape acid rot,grape crown gall,grape cluster rot,grape scolecotrichum leaf spot,winter injury,herbicide injuries,nutrient deficiency symptom and some non-communicable diseases,ect.Among them grape felt disease,grape cluster rot,grape powdery mildew were frequently-happened diseases on multiple major planting varieties ; Grape downy mildew was common in Northern Xinjiang but rather rare in Turpan.Grape acid rot and grape scolecotrichum leaf spot have become the main disease in Turpan.[Conclusion] Multiple main diseases can be found on grapes in the above areas and most diseases can be kept under control if the standardized planting and effective prevention and control measures are perforred.But a couple of diseases such as grape downy mildew,grape felt disease and grape acid rot disease are occurring seriously in some ateas.
