Effects of Spraying Plant Growth Regulators on Photosynthetic Characteristics Traits and Fructify Growth of the Major Hybrid Hazel
[Objective] The purpose of this study is to provide theoretical guidance for efficient cultivation techniques of the major hybrid hazel by using different plant growth regulators to conduct comparative study of the fruit setting rate, amount of growth, photosynthetic parameters, chlorophyll content, fruit yield and quality.[Method] Photosynthetic instrument CIRAS-2 was applied to mensurate the photosynthetic parameters,SPAD-502 chlorophyll meter was applied to mensurate the chlorophyll content.Tape measures and calipers were used to measure the length and diameter and lectronic balances and calipers were applied to determine the hazelnut fruit weight.[Result] Spraying concentration of GA3 150 mg/L,the fruit setting rate reached 84.46 percent, and compared with CK fruit seeting rate, there was 38.19% increase.Spraying GA3 150 mg/L the branches length and diameter with CK was significant difference (P < 0.05);the branches length compared with CK increased 113.41%.The branches diameter compared with CK increased 39.04%.Spraying 200 mg/L of MET,fruit setting rate is 23.64% higher than CK,the yield per plant weighs 2.10 kg,increased 176.31% than CK.Spraying 500 mg/L of BA,the photosynthetic rate was significantly higher than other treatments, compared with CK increased 56.67%.The treatment of spraying GA3 100 mg/L,chlorophyll content in a Nutshell enlargement and enlargement of nuts were higher than other treatments. In the Nutshell enlargement was 11.95% higher than CK,the nuts enlargement was 10.09% higher than CK.[Conclusion]At the flowering stage, spraying GA3 150 mg/L and PP333 200 mg/L and BA 500 mg/L on major hybrid hazel trees could obviously increase the fruit setting rate and improve the photosynthetic characters. And meanwhile, branches length and diameter were promoted, thus improving the yield. It is suitable to apply the techniques in the major hybrid hazel cultivation.
