Analysis of Nutrient Status of Soil and Leaves in Ziziphus Jujuba cv.Junzao Orchards at Different Yield Levels
[Objective] The objective of this study is to investigate the relationship among jujube yield, soil nutrient and leaf nutrient in order to provide a theoretical basis for making reasonable fertilization schemes and improving jujube yield in the second Agricultural Production Division.[Method]5-8 years Ziziphus Jujuba cv.Junzao was used as the testing material.Soil samples from different layers (0-20 cm,20-50 cm and 50-80 cm) and leaves of peripheral vegetative branches were collected from 18 high, medium and low yield junzao orchards in 31 th,33 th,34 th,36 th,37 th and 38 th regiments in Bayangol Mongol Autonomous Prefecture of Xinjiang, respectively.[Result] There were no significant differences in copper, iron, manganese and zinc content of soil or leaves in all junzao orchards.Soil available nitrogen, available phosphorus, available potassium, calcium and magnesium content were significantly higher in the high-yield orchard than those in the low-yield orchard.Leaf total nitrogen, total phosphorus, total potassium content in the high-yield orchard were significantly higher than those in the low-yield orchard.Soil available nitrogen, available phosphorus, calcium, magnesium, leaf total nitrogen, and leaf calcium content were significantly positively correlated with high-yield junzao, and other elements showed no significant positive correlation with the yield.[Conclusion] In the practical production, the application of nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizer should be enhanced in the tested jujube orchards. At the same time attention should be paid to the calcium supplement, and as for the low yield orchards spraying calcium fertilizer can improve the Ca absorption.
