Land Surface Process Parameters and Offline Simulation of Land Surface Model in the Black Gobi Region of Eastern Xinjiang
The black gobi in eastern Xinjiang,as an ecologically fragile area with a harsh climate, little human presence and black gravel substratum, has unique land surface process parameters. In this paper,a systematic study of the local kinetic roughness, thermodynamic roughness, specific emissivity and surface albedo and their parameterization schemes was conducted based on the observations of the land-atmospheric interaction station at gobi region of Hami in eastern Xinjiang throughout 2018,and the following conclusions were obtained:(1)The aerodynamic roughness length of the eastern Xinjiang black gobi sub-bedding surface is 1.13×10-3,the thermodynamic roughness is 0.32×10-3 m,and the specific emissivity is 0.905.(2)The daily variation of surface albedo in the black gobi region of eastern Xinjiang is high in the morning and night, and lowest at noon.Albedo is the highest in December due to snow on the ground, and the annual maximumg is 0.79 on December 8,with an annual average albedo of 0.29.(3)Bringing the improved land surface process parameters into the Noah model greatly improves the model's ability to simulate in the gobi region.
