The Influence of Lake-land Breeze on Summer Temperature in Lakeside Area and the Intensity of Urban Heat Island in Yueyang City
Based on the daily hourly meteorological data,the intensity of summer urban heat island in the main urban area of Yueyang city during 2019-2021 was evaluated.As the same time,the influence of lake-land breeze on summer temperature and the intensity of urban heat island in eastern Dongting Lake was discussed.The results show that the average temperature in the suburbs is 1.47℃lower than that in urban area and 1.11℃lower than that in lakeside area;the lowest temperature in suburbs is 1.89℃lower than that in urban area and 2.03℃lower than that lakeside area;the maximum temperature in the urban area is 0.61℃higher than that in the suburbs;and that in the suburbs is 0.63℃higher than that in lakeside area.In the daytime,the temperature in urban area is higher than that in the suburbs,which is higher than that in the lake.At night,the temperature in urban area is almost the same as that in the lake,and obviously higher than that in the suburbs.The hourly temperature variation of suburbs is the highest;and which of urban area is the second;and lakeside area's hourly temperature variation is the lowest.The changes of hourly temperature variation during the time of 23:00 and 06:00 of the next day among these three areas are small.The average,maximum and minimum temperatures in urban areas are 1.47,0.61 and 1.89℃separately higher than those in the suburbs,corresponding urban heat island intensities were weak,weak and medium.The urban heat island intensity from 08:00 to 19:00 is weak,which from 20:00 to 07:00 the next day is moderate.The lakeside breeze from 09:00 to 18:00 is strong,and the land breeze from 19:00 to 08:00 the next day is weak.There is a significant correlation between wind and regional temperature and urban heat island intensity.The lake-land breeze is significantly correlated with the temperature and the intensity of urban heat island.The urban heat island effect at night is stronger than the lake cooling effect during the day.The intensity of the daytime urban heat island effect and the night lake heat effect at night was influenced by the distance between the observation station and the suburbs,and the distance between the observation station and the lakeside area.The closer urban observation stations is to the lakeside area during the day,the less affected by the urban heat island effect,and the greater the influence of urban heat island effect is at night.
