A Normal Contact Force Model based on Hertz Nonlinearity
Based on the Hertz theory,the nonlinear dynamic equations were established.Combined with the energy method,the expression of the maximum deformation during the two-ball contact process was derived.A new viscous damp-ing factor was obtained and an improved normal contact force model was proposed.For the model and several common nor-mal contact force models of the same type,the relationship between relative velocity and deformation with time was ana-lyzed,and it was analyzed that the relationship of normal contact force,relative velocity and deformation under different re-covery coefficients under the same example.The relationship between the input and the calculated recovery coefficient was obtained.The results showed that the improved normal contact force model had sufficient accuracy and scope under the premise of ensuring correctness.
