Research on Optimization Design of RX Gas+Natural Gas Carburization Process
At present,the promotion of RX gas+natural gas carburization process in China has been relatively late,and there was relatively little research on its process design.To verify the applicability of the carburizing process on military components and achieve controllable process and carburized product quality,it was studied that the microstructure,uniform-ity,hardness gradient,and hardness uniformity of infiltration layer and hear part of typical carburized materials after carbu-rizing in an RX gas+natural gas atmosphere.Research showed that by studying the carburization process under RX gas+natural gas atmosphere,the microstructure of the sample made of 20Cr2Ni4A could reach the first level during carburization under RX gas+natural gas atmosphere,and the uniformity of the infiltration layer was improved while meeting the stand-ards.It was gentle that the carbon concentration gradient in the transition layer between the carburized layer and the sub-strate,and the hardness uniformity was good.This process was suitable for carburized parts with ordinary wear resistance requirements.However,it was difficult to achieve hardness above 60 HRC,so it was not recommended to use this carburi-zing process for parts with hardness requirements above 60 HRC.
