Modular Design of Assembly Process for Cluster-like Patrol Missiles
As technology development and battlefield requirements evolution,patrol missiles have been progressing to-wards a more miniaturized and diversified development direction.Based on the structural characteristics of swarm-type pa-trol missiles and their integration with traditional assembly processes,we addressed the research and development needs for swarm-type patrol missile products with diverse types and large production volumes.By employing clustering and classifica-tion methods,the assembly relationships of patrol missiles were divided into several sets of assembly units combined with traditional assembly process.We analyzed and divided patrol missiles assembly units,modularized the assembly process in accordance with these units to propose an assembly process modularization design that was suitable for the characteristics of swarm-type patrol missile assembly.Through comparison with traditional assembly time,it was demonstrated that the modularization design effectively enhanced assembly efficiency for patrol missiles.At the same time,this new method could be extended to other missile products to improve the assembly efficiency and reduce the pressure of the final assembly node.
