剧海一沤:叶庸方戏曲活动考略

叶庸方是近现代京剧传播过程中涌现出的一位重要人物,当前学界尚未就其戏曲活动展开完整的考述.叶庸方的戏曲活动主要集中在三个领域:一是组建京剧票房"永兴国剧社",传承与弘扬京剧国粹;二是创办现代音乐组织"长城唱片公司",积极推动京剧艺术向音乐唱片这一现代媒介的转换;三是同梅兰芳、程砚秋、张荣奎、荀慧生等京剧名角保持密切联系,提升自身的京剧表演水平.通过系统深入地考述叶庸方的戏曲活动,能够有效填补现有民国戏曲史研究存在的部分缺失,为学界评价民国戏曲演进提供新的事证.
Abstract
Ye Yongfang is an important figure in the dissemination of modern Beijing Opera.However,there has not been a thorough survey about his opera activities.Ye Yongfang's opera activities mainly focus on three areas.Firstly,he established the box office"Yongxing National Drama Society"to inherit and promote the excellent Chinese art of Beijing Opera.Secondly,he established the modern music organization"Great Wall Records Company",actively promoting the application of modern medium--music records,in the area of Beijing opera.Thirdly,he maintained close contact with some famous Beijing Opera actors such as Mei Lanfang,Cheng Yanqiu,Zhang Rongkui,and Xun Huisheng,improving his performance of Beijing Opera.The systematic and in-depth study on Ye Yongfang's opera activities can contribute to filling some of the gaps in the current research on the history of opera during the period of Republic of China,and provide new evidence for the academic community to evaluate the evolution of opera during the period of Republic of China.
