In order to effectively connect the renovation of old residential areas with urban renewal,this research explores the renovation method of old residential areas with"community-city linkage"through the case of the renovation of the old residential area of Zhonghuayuandongcun.Based on"co-creation",it puts forward a renovation content generation method,and a renovation space utilization method with the objective of"interaction with the city",so as to improve the needs of the neighborhood and repair the lack of the city.In response to the requirements of"innovation and improvement",it considers the renovation design and implementation method with accurate investment and"long-term promotion"of the old residential area as an effective starting point for urban regeneration in Kunshan,and explores and provides experience for the renovation of old residential areas in other cities.
