Three Symbolic Strategies of Modern Timber Landscape Ornaments:A Case Study of Arte Sella Park in Italy
Modern landscape ornaments frequently blend the humanistic spirit and construction experiment with nature.However,it might be challenging to avoid problems with symbolic representation.Arte Sella Park in Italy is a collection of landscape ornaments created by well-known artists and architects all over the world.This paper looks at modern timber landscape ornaments from Arte Sella and divides them into three groups in accordance with Roland Barthes'three symbolic imaginations to make an argument for three symbolic strategies which are"prototype representation","element comparison"and"environmental constraints",with a view to provide strategic references for symbolic issues in the built environment.
