Effective Responses of Building Actions to the Preservation and Reuse of Built Vernacular Heritage:Exemplified by Manincor Winery in South Tyrol,Italy
Built vernacular heritage,as a key component of the rural environment,is replete with significant heritage values.In its preservation and reuse,the introduction of building actions based on scientific principles can not only facilitate the sustainable conservation of heritage but also revitalize the cultural resources of rural areas and promote rural revitalization in China.Adhering to the principles of introducing building actions into heritage practice and centering on the three-layered value of built vernacular heritage,the interaction between design and construction is analyzed in terms of authenticity preservation and adaptive reuse dimensions.The analysis focuses on the traditional winery,a typical built vernacular heritage in Italy.In turn,the preservation and reuse project of the Manincor winery located in the German-speaking South Tyrol is selected for analysis,and different strategies are identified to draw some lessons for the promotion of vernacular heritage conservation in China.
