Reconnecting Psychology and Anthropology——The Anthropological Experience in Jerome S.Bruner's Cultural Psychology
Jerome S.Bruner, former president of the American Psychological Association, played an irreplaceable role in promoting the reconnection between psychology and anthropology and promoting the development of cultural psychology.Through"first acquaintance Anthropology","close contact with Anthropology"and"anthropology practice of Bruner",this paper comprehensively and vividly re-veals the close connection between Jerome S.Bruner and his cultural psychology and anthropology. At the same time,it also makes a ty-pological analysis of Bruner's cultural psychology, traces the anthropological pedigree of his"cultural view",and points out that the school of symbolism and cultural relativism in anthropology have a great influence on the formation of Bruner's cultural psychology.By showing Bruner's academic experience and the neglected"anthropological experience"in cultural psychology,it not only helps us to better understand the academic development history of cultural psychology, but also enables us to better reflect on the"original inten-tion"of creating psychology.
