The Relationship between Dark Triad and Life History Strategy:A Meta-analysis
Meta-analysis was used to sort out the relationship between dark triad and life history strategies,and explored the modera-ting variables affecting the relationship.A total of 17 studies(N=8760)were included in the meta-analysis.The results showed that dark triad(Machiavellianism,psychopathy and narcissism)was significantly associated with life history strategies.The moderating effects of dark triad measurement methods and tools,age,gender and cultural background were significant.The relationship between dark triad and life history strategy was further clarified,indicating that the relationship between dark triad and life history strategy was heterogene-ous in different cultural groups.
