诞生于20世纪30年代的"红色鼓动剧",是外来思潮与中国革命实际相结合的成果,并在中国的社会现实中曲折发展."红色鼓动剧"综合运用了标语口号、演说、音乐、锣鼓等丰富的声音形式,在戏剧演出中营造了"台上台下相互呼应"的戏剧效果,从而起到了鼓动民族情绪、唤醒劳苦大众的作用,引导群众由发声走向行动."红色鼓动剧"配合着抗日救亡热潮,表现了中国人民在帝国主义的压迫下奋起反抗的决心,"怒吼吧,中国!"作为民族觉醒的时代情绪表达,不仅包孕着知识分子的国族想象,也传递着广大民众空前的时代大音.它紧贴劳苦大众的现实生活,契合了民众高涨的时代抗争热情和社会心理,即使是大量急就章的戏剧演出,也能引起观众的强烈反响,从而发挥了戏剧的战斗性、鼓动性作用,扩大了左翼戏剧运动的影响.其在大众化实践中生成的群情激奋的时代精神、勇于搏战的革命传统,承载着一代人的民族信仰,在血与泪的洗礼中生成了壮阔的时代美学,积累了丰富的艺术经验.
"Red Agitation Drama",originating in the 1930s,emerged as a fusion of foreign ideological trends and the practical realities of the Chinese revolution.It underwent complex development within the context of Chinese society.Through the use of vari-ous sound forms such as slogans,speeches,music,and drums,"Red Agitation Drama"created a theatrical effect of"mutual reso-nance between the stage and the audience".This effectively stirred national sentiments,awakened the masses,and guided them from vocalization to action.Aligned with the anti-Japanese salvation movement,"Red Agitation Drama"embodied the Chinese people's determination to rise against imperialist oppression with the rallying cry of"Roar,China!"It represented the national a-wakening of the era,capturing the imagination of intellectuals and conveying the zeitgeist of the masses.Grounded in the realities of the working class,it resonated with their heightened spirit of struggle and social psychology.Despite being hastily produced,the performances evoked strong reactions from audiences,fulfilling the combative and agitative role of theater and expanding the influ-ence of the left-wing theater movement."Red Agitation Drama"embodied the fervent collective spirit,revolutionary tradition of courage,and national faith of a generation.Through the transformative power of blood and tears,it forged a grand aesthetic of the era and accumulated a wealth of artistic experiences.
