Expression of Renin Angiotensin System(RAS)in Jejunum Tissues of Piglets with Clinical Diarrhea and Its Relationship with Intestinal Inflammation
In the process of modern large-scale pig breeding, whether it is the stress response caused by weaning, replacement and replacement,or bacterial and viral infections,it is very easy to affect the health of the digestive tract and cause intestinal inflammation with diarrhea as the main symptom. The expression of renin-angiotensin system(RAS)in jejunum tissues of pigs with clinical diarrhea was studied to explore the relationship between RAS and intestinal inflam-mation.The study was conducted on nursery pigs with clinical symptoms of diarrhea, and the pathological changes of jejunum tissues of diarrhea pigs were observed by histopathology,West-ern blot and RT-qPCR.To clarify the expression changes of RAS components, especially angio-tensin-converting enzyme 2(ACE2),and explore the effects of RAS on intestinal inflammation injury in pigs. The results showed that the pro-inflammatory factors TNF-α and IL-1β were sig-nificantly increased in jejunum tissues of pigs with clinical diarrhoea piglets, while the anti-inflammatory factor IL-10 was not significantly changed.Histopathology showed that jejunum epithelial villi exfoliated, glandular hyperplasia and hemorrhagic sites. The mRNA and protein levels of ACE2 and MasR and the content of Ang(1-7)were decreased, while the protein levels of ACE and AT1R and the content of Ang Ⅱ were increased. The results suggest that local jeju-num RAS is activated in the jejunal tissue of pigs with clinical diarrhoea piglets. The activity of ACE-Ang Ⅱ-AT1R axis was much higher than that of ACE2-ang(1-7)-MasR axis, and ACE2 was inferior in anti-inflammatory damage.
