Exploration on the Function and Promotion Mechanisms of College Students' Learning Behavior Investment on the Ability Development
In order to explore the relationship between learning behavior engagement and students' ability development,a questionnaire survey was conducted on 6963 students in a double first-class university in Jiangsu Province, supplemented with in-depth interviews with 10 teachers and students. The results show that:(1)first-generation college students and students of partial theory major have lower levels of learning behavior engagement and ability development than non-first-generation college students and students of partial practical majors;(2)there is a medium-high positive correlation between learning behavior engagement and college students' ability development;(3)the influence of each dimension of learning behavior engagement on the development of college students' abilities is different.Teacher-student interaction and peer interactions can exert great impact on student' professional core ability and communication development ability respectively, and self-directed learning has the least impact on their overall ability development.Based on this, universities can enhance students' ability development through a series of teaching reforms:implementing selective elite education with high academic challenges, teaching reform of"double improvement of teaching and learning"and teaching reform of"golden course"construction.
