The Textual Research on Dai Pan'Shu Jing Ji Ju Wen Gao
Dai Pan's Shu Jing Ji Ju Wen Gao is a huge collection of Ji Ju eight-part essays consisting of lines from Shang Shu.Dai Pan combined the profoundness of Shang Shu and the solemnity of eight-part essays successfully,thus he had a distinctive style in arts.Dai Pan's creative attitude was very serious,therefore,depending on that,he conquered the imperial examinations.After being appointed an officer,he transformed the Confucian principles in Ji Ju eight-part essays made up of lines from Shang Shu into his administrative policy,integrated knowledge and action,and opened up the imaginative space for practical function and ideological value of Ji Ju eight-part essays.All these factors made Shu Jing Ji Ju Wen Gao a unique existence in the history of both Ji Ju literature and imperial examination.Although this collection had a significant influence at that time,it was relatively rough at the writing standard.Its roughness can be mainly observed by the lack of quoting sources sentence by sentence,the appearance of self-creation and Ji Ju at the same time,and various edits to the original text.In general,Shu Jing Ji Ju Wen Gao should be categorized as an"atypical Ji Ju literature".
