A Study on the Landscape Reconstruction of Historical Blocks Based on the Nostalgic Memory——A Case Study of Mantan Road in Wuxi County of Chongqing
The historical block is the soul of the urban context and also an important part of urban functions.With the acceleration of urbanization,historical blocks are overshadowed with unreasonable planning,unbalanced development and even decline and disappearance.Under the new aesthetic and life requirements,issues like function replacement and future development have been taken into consideration in landscape design.The landscape thought based on nostalgic memory is a rectification of the current phenomenon of regional context fragmentation and urban landscape similarities,which aims to establish places full of geography emotion on the basis of people's perception and experience,so as to realize local identity and feeling ascription.This paper takes Mnatan Road in Wuxi,Chongqing City as an example so as to provide reference for similar historical block reconstruction.
