Critical ill patients are high risk group of deep vein thrombosis.Thrombus shedding can lead to pulmonary embolism,causing life danger.Nosocomial venous thromboembolism(VTE)is the main cause of unexpected death in hospital and one of the main causes of medical disputes,which seriously threatens the life and health of patients.Therefore,standardized prevention and treatment of VTE is of great significance.The purpose of this article is to review the research progress on the prevention,diagnosis and treatment of VTE,in order to provide help for the prevention and treatment of VTE in critical ill patients.
