Research progress of coronary artery disease and diabetes mellitus comorbidity
Coronary artery disease(CAD)and diabetes mellitus(DM)are common clinical diseases,they often coexist and influence each other.CAD is a leading cause of death worldwide.The prevalence rate of DM in inpatients with CAD in China was 52.9%.This review aims to briefly discuss various aspects,including epidemiology,pathogenesis and medical treatment,in order to improve the clinical prognosis in patients presenting with CAD and DM.
