Connotation,Practical Challenges and Implementation Paths of Value-added Evaluation for Kindergarten Teachers
Value-added evaluation,as a kind of developmental evaluation based on evaluating the vertical development of children and assessing the contribution of kindergarten teachers,is feasible and necessary to be applied in kindergartenl teachers'evaluation.The value-added evaluation of kindergarten teachers takes the contribution and the process of the teacher's contribution to childcare and education as the evaluation object,with qualitative methods as the main method and quantitative tools as the supplement,and with teachers,school administrators,third-party educational evaluation organizations and parents as the main evaluation subjects.Exploring the value-added evaluation of kindergarten teachers may face the challenges of weak legal basis,exacerbating the tendency of"primary schooling",difficulties in collecting educational data and insufficient support for professional development.And these challenges may be solved by improving the top-level design,adhering to the principle of cultivating a moral character,strengthening technological empowerment,and focusing on teacher training.
