Research advances of osteomyelitis complicated with deep venous thrombosis in children
Pediatric venous thrombosis is usually secondary to surgery,trauma and indwelling catheter.Osteomyelitis with thrombosis is rare in clinical practices.Since clinical manifestations of deep venous thrombosis are similar to osteomyelitis,it may be easily missed.A presence of thrombosis boosts the difficulty of managing osteomyelitis.This review summarized common problems related to osteomyelitis with thrombosis to provide references for clinicians.
