A Multidimensional Analysis of Constructing the Modern Chinese Civilization
At The Symposium on Cultural Inheritance and Development,General Secretary Xi summa-rized and extracted five prominent characteristics of Chinese civilization,and proposed promoting the con-struction of a modern Chinese civilization.Responding to the missions of adhering to cultural roots,especially the prominent characteristics of Chinese civilization,combining the basic principles of Marxism with the spe-cific national conditions of China and the excellent traditional culture of China,and continuing to promote cultural prosperity and build modern Chinese civilization from a new starting point,this study explores the relevant issues of building modern Chinese civilization from five dimensions,namely the historical,realistic,value,practical,and world dimensions.The findings are of important practical significances for a deep under-standing of the cultural foundation,development momentum,basic value adherence,the paths of development and prosperity,and the way to integrate modern Chinese civilization into the world civilization,while dem-onstrating the confidence,self-improvement,self-reliance,self-awareness,and humility of Chinese civili-zation.
