Discriminating the Concepts of Alliance,Alignment and Quasi-Alliance
In the history of international relations,alliance and alignment are old phenomena,which al-ways exert important influence on international politics and international relations in a particular era.In com-parison,quasi-alliance,as a historically obscure phenomenon which has been largely ignored,only began to attract frequent attention in the 21st century.While alliance is the closest manifestation of relations between countries,with particular emphasis on political,security and defense cooperation,alignment,similar to alli-ance,connotes weaker or looser alliance relations,quasi-alliance is a state of state relation which is close to alliance,and to some extent can be understood as a"special strategic partnership".
