If the Volume I of Back to Marx is a textual analysis of Marx's philosophical and economic explorations,Volume Ⅱ is an in-depth monographic exploration of Marx's scientific socialism,which is Ma-rx's theoretical process of confronting the entire mode of production of capitalism.From a textual perspec-tive,Volume Ⅱ expands the study of the history of Marx's thought by delving into Marx's various note-books based on the latest literature from MEGA2 and combining them with Marx's published writings,man-uscripts,letters,and other textual types.So far as content are concerned,Volume Ⅱ has three main theoretical lines:first,Marx's theoretical trajectory from the civil society to the bourgeois society and to the mode of capitalist production;second,Marx's conception of the alienated labor,and third,Marx's theory of the social Gestalt.The author tries to re-examine Marx's series of important ideas in an original way.This is not only a journey"back to Marx",but also an endeavor to build a bridge of thought that brings Marx to the present day.
