Humanistic Risks and Mitigation Strategies Arising from Metaverse Applications
By deeply exploring the humanistic risks brought by the application of the metaverse,we provide a new perspective and effective methods for elucidating the digital governance principles of the metaverse.Starting from the key technologies of the metaverse,this paper discusses in detail the group risks brought by the metaverse,including freedom risks,equality risks,jus-tice risks,and rule of law risks,as well as individual risks,including subjectivity deconstruction risks,ability damage risks,in-dividual rights infringement risks,and individual security risks.This article centers its focus on the three pivotal stages of the complete metaverse technology lifecycle,namely technology research and development,technology application,and technology allocation.Drawing upon China's existing metaverse governance plans,we put forward diverse and pluralistic strategies for risk prevention and control that align with the unique risk characteristics present in these three technical dimensions.
