On the Dilemma of Today's University Academic Community
The academic community,with internal and external harmony,both physically and spiritually,is an important organ-izational carrier for the healthy development of modern universities.With the evolution of the times,the academic community of Chinese universities has shown a different growth pattern from the traditional one,with both innovative development and difficul-ty.Adhering to the educational rationality of sustainable development,the modern university academic community should become an educational and academic organization that seeks common ground while reserving differences,forms disperse but the spirit gathers,and is flexible and independent.However,to a certain extent,the nature of the university is diluted,the subject con-sciousness is weak,and the form and spirit are divided with academic ecology dissimilation,power imbalance,mistaken priority,spiritual territory contraction,orientation bias,and profit-oriented pursuit.In the future,if high-quality development is taken as the frame of reference to build the academic community of Chinese-style modern university,it is necessary to regain individ-ual academic belief,build the overall academic belief support system accordingly,and create an open and diversified academic exchange platform.
