The Mystery of the Mythical Rise of China's Tourism:The Dual Drive of Effective Investment and Consumption Upgrading
With an extraordinary speed,China's tourism has rapidly risen to a world tourism power,overtaking many countries with more than 40 years'development,and has become a model of the"mythical"rise of national tourism.It not only highlights the unique advantages of the socialist system with Chinese characteristics,but also reflects China's scientific grasp of the law and logic of tourism development.This paper first comprehensively discusses the development process of China's tourism and its cur-rent status and role in the world,and then discusses the dual driving mechanism of China's tourism rise from two aspects of effec-tive investment and consumption upgrading:(1)The material input represented by land,capital,transportation and infrastruc-ture,and the non-material input represented by policy,education and human resources constitute an effective input driving sys-tem;(2)The consumption upgrading driving system consists of the continuous expansion of consumption scale,the steady growth of consumption subjects,the continuous enrichment of consumption formats,the continuous optimization of consumption structure and the gradual improvement of consumption quality.In the future,with the in-depth promotion of Chinese style mod-ernization,China's tourism will enhance the driving effect,promote high-quality development,and achieve the goal of building a world tourism power.
