Yunnan Wu Temple:The Silhouette of Borderland Inlandization
Through a comprehensive review of the construction of Yunnan Wu Temple in the past dynasties, focusing on the construction of the main body, purpose and location and relying on the social activities of the Wu Temple,we find that the differ-ence between Yunnan Wu Temple and the mainland is not too big.Yunnan Wu Temple has the nature of community organiza-tion.It is a public space closely connected with official and civil society life.It is the product of the transplantation of social or-ganizations and cultural customs from the mainland to the border areas. It has a profound impact on the people of all ethnic groups in Yunnan from military to social life.It is a public space for the integration of the Han nationality and other ethnic minor-ities.It is also a space for the compromise and symbiosis of different religious forces and secular forces. It shows that the central power is proportional to the degree of cultural leadership, and it is also a silhouette of the inlandization of the frontier. The ethnic masses across Yunnan form a common sense of home in the events and experiences of collective participation.
