The rule of law is an important guarantee for the safely and orderly operation of modern society.It needs efficient le-gal protection to promote the high-quality development of cross-border economic cooperation zones.Taking the China-Laos Mohan-Boten Economic Cooperation Zone as an example,this article analyzes the legal basis which support its development,the problems and challenges existing in the development,and summarizes the practical exploration of legal guarantee for the de-velopment of cross-border economic cooperation zones at home and abroad.In this regard,it is indispensable to take measures such as deeply practicing Xi Jinping thought on the rule of law,learning from the successful experiences and practices of other cross-border economic cooperation zones,improving the legal framework system,perfecting the collaborative management mechanism.And then it will provide powerful legal guarantee for the steady promotion of the development of economic coopera-tion zones.
