The Realistic Representation and Contemporary Enlightenment of the Spirit of Educators in Southwest Associated University——Taking John Ma as an Example
In the process of promoting the modernization of education,the country is in dire need of a large number of educator-type teachers.The National Southwest Associated University stands as a miracle in the history of Chinese education,and a-mong its many educators,John Ma's embodiment of the educator spirit is particularly notable.His unique philosophy of physical education and rich practical experience manifest significant contemporary value,bridging history and the present.This paper aims to explore the spiritual essence,practical experiences,contemporary representation,and modern inspirations of John Ma as a physical educator during the National Southwest Associated University period.It comprehensively examines the"six-dimen-sional aspect"of his educator spirit.John Ma epitomizes the convergence of six roles:a defender of national dignity and political stance,a demonstrator of lifelong sports and humanistic care,a guide for educational enlightenment and inspirational motivation,a practitioner of scientific training and innovative teaching,a proponent of wholehearted dedication and educational devotion,and a bearer of international vision and national spirit.These contemporary representations offer significant lessons and inspirations for promoting the educator spirit and shaping new-era educators today.
