Can Turing Machine Pass Turing Test?——From the Perspective of the Material Theory oflnduction
Thematerial theory of induction is a cutting-edge achievement in the field of inductive logic.A core point of view is that the scientific field is bounded, and the application of rules or laws is also limited. We apply this view to the currently popular field of artificial intelligence and machine learning, pointing out that the complex facts in this field are the complexity of human thinking, including the variability and arbitrar-iness of language, emotion and motivation. We cannot place hope on a set of formal methods or mathematical models to solve all problems. We chose the Turing test as a typical case to discuss. As a unique local field, natural language has its own complexity.Consequently,we are temporarily unable to create a Turing machine that can pass the Turing test.In the end,we spread from the point to the surface, and believe that based on purely rational inductive logic,General Artificial Intelligence cannot be achieved.
