The Diachronic Study of Chinese Children Address Metonymy System:from the Perspective of Complex Adaptive System Theory
Based on complex adaptation system theory,this paper aimed to investigate the evolution of Chinese children address metonymy system by adopting the method of corpus linguistics.The study found that:the system consisted of 47 words from 12 conceptual domains;because the evolution of the system was influenced by multiple dynamic motivations,and manifested the characteristics of the non-lin-ear evolution of complex system;the child cognitive model also evolved from low-level cognitive mode to high-level cognitive mode.
